Rivers Governor
Nyesom Wike and presidential candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) Major Hamza Al-Mustapha (retd) have held a closed-door meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Al-Mustapha, a former Chief Security Officer to the late former maximum ruler, General Sani Abacha, met Wike at his private residence on Monday night.

The latest visit came one week after 17 governorship candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general elections met Wike in Port Harcourt over the ongoing crisis in their party.

Like many of the recent visits by presidential candidates to the Governor, there was no disclosure of the motive behind Al- Mustapha’s visit.

A Government House, who spoke in confidence, said the visitor left immediately after the meeting that lasted for about an hour.

The visit, it was gathered, was in connection with the forthcoming presidential election.
