He was the cynosure of all eyes at the ongoing Lagos State FA Cup 2022/2023 Season where his team FC Ramond International proved bookmakers wrong by recording a 3-0 Win against Nakamura Strikers with the lanky striker scoring a goal and assisting another in the Round of 128.


Not resting on his oars, the prolific striker scored a hat-trick against Nigeria National League Team, Robo Warriors in the team 4-1 win in the Round of 64.

Ugochukwu Promise Odoh could be said to be the much waited striker the world is expecting.

Ugo has he is fondly called by his teammates is a striker with a great mindset who has the desire to push further and farther regardless of the challenges.

The Enugu born goal poacher ha sa dream of returning to Europe with his been heard across the world.

The dynamic and versatile player starred for FK Minija Football Club in the Lithuanian League where he bagged a whopping Nine Goals with Five Assist in 15 Matches.

During his trial in France, he scored an amazing 11 Goals in Five Matches but was unable to get a deal due to work permit.

The young sharp striker started his footballing journey in Nsukka, Enugu State where he made a name for himself having played at the Shell Cup and was signed up by Lion of Hope Football Club in Enugu.

He was however snapped up by Junior Rangers who were playing in the Nigeria National League One.

His performance caught the eye of some Israeli Football Agents who took him to Hapoel Kfar Qasem Shuaa Football Club in the Israeli League.

Unfortunately, injury caught short his stint with the Club forcing him to return to Nigeria.

FC Ramond International Football Club through its owner, Oluwaremilekun Adebanjo changed the fortunes of the young lanky striker.

Ugo’s passion for the round leather game as made him to be determined, persevere and remain optimistic that Europe beckons courtesy of his hard work.

“I want to return to Europe. But at the moment, I want to be the highest goal scorer in the Lagos FA Cup and the League. I want to succeed with the team.

“My goal is to play for one of the top teams in the top five European leagues, and want to be like my cult heroes which include; Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, Robert Lewandowski and Victor Osimhen”.

Ugo said that with his team advancement to the Round of 32 against Dosu Joseph Football Club, he is optimistic of victory as their resilience and effort will pay off.

He however appreciated his teammates for their support, stressing that without them he wouldn’t have scored and deliver the way he has been doing.
